Description

The stepper motors move in precisely repeatable steps, hence they are the motors of choice for the machines requiring precise position control. The Pro-Range NEMA17 PR42HS40-1504 4.2 kg-cm Stepper Motor -D Type Shaft can provide 4.2 kg-cm of torque at 1.5A current per phase.

The motor’s position can be commanded to move or hold at one position with the help of Stepper Motor Drivers. The NEMA17 4.2 kg-cm Stepper Motor provides excellent response to starting, stopping and reversing pulses from stepper motor driver.

They are very useful in the various application, especially which demands low speed with high precision. Many machines such as 3D Printers, CNC Router and Mills, Camera Platforms, XYZ Plotters etc. This motor is usually compatible with Two Trees 3D Printer machines; however, the use of motor is not limited to it. You can use the stepper motor in various applications that require precise and controlled rotational motion.

It is a brushless DC motor, so the life of this motor is dependent upon life of the bearings. The position control is achieved by a simple Open Loop control mechanism so doesn’t require complex electronic control circuitry.

The motor’s shaft has been machined for good grip with a pulley, drive gear etc., and especially avoiding stall or slip.

The PCB board is strengthened in the motor, and the unique stator technology is adopted, ensure that the stator teeth of the motor are ground uniformly and cleanly, and the internal control accuracy is high. The speed is stable and accurate without losing step during the working process.

The surface of the motor rotor is coated with imported epoxy resin, which seals the rotor as a whole and is cured at high temperature. After the rotor is processed by abrasion, machining residues such as iron pins are not easy to appear in the tooth grooves. The motor is stable even after long-term use. There is no risk of jamming.
The motor has high overall stability, uniform rotation speed and low noise through Kossel Prusa I3, Ultmaker, corexy and other motors.
